SIAMS Church School Inspection
SIAMS Inspections
Church of England schools are inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) framework. SIAMS focuses on how well a school’s Christian vision and values are lived out in practice and how they support the flourishing of pupils and adults.
The inspection considers:
- The clarity and impact of the school’s Christian vision
- How this vision shapes leadership, curriculum and daily life
- Collective Worship and Religious Education
- Inclusion, wellbeing and relationships
- How the school prepares pupils to live well in a diverse society
Our most recent SIAMS inspection took place in February 2025. The inspection found that our school is living up to its foundation as a Church school and enabling pupils and adults to flourish.
Inspectors highlighted the school’s strong and carefully articulated Christian vision, which is thoughtfully woven throughout school life and drives decision-making. A deep-rooted culture of love, kindness and inclusion ensures that all pupils, regardless of need, feel valued and supported. Collective Worship was recognised as a strength, creating a culture of reflection and supporting pupils’ spiritual development. Inspectors also noted the positive impact of leadership, staff commitment and the strong sense of belonging experienced by pupils.
