I love working across two classes in school and particularly enjoy being a part of the Year 6 team!

Maths is my favourite subject—there’s nothing better than seeing that moment when a tricky concept finally clicks with our pupils!

I enjoy reading and love getting fully immersed in our class novels. We recently read The Unforgotten Coat by Frank Cotrell Boyce and seeing the children's faces when the ending was revealed was just magical! I also love a good singsong! Despite not having the most angelic voice myself, teaching music and hearing the children sing together is one of my favourite parts of being a primary school teacher!

In September, each pupil wrote a letter to their future self. These letters are in an envelope hanging up in Wolves Class ready and waiting to be opened in July. It will be great to see how the children's ideas and feelings have changed since entering their final year of primary school and if they've achieved the goals they set for themselves!
