Hello! I’m Mrs Rice, and I teach Year 1/2.

I’m passionate about making learning exciting and meaningful through hands-on experiences and learning through play. I especially love teaching art, design technology, history, and science, and I enjoy taking learning beyond the classroom. One of my favorite things is exploring the outdoors—discovering wildlife, caring for our environment, and creating imaginative projects in the forest.

This year, I’m looking forward to our visit to Sudbury Hall Museum of Childhood, where we’ll explore toys from the past. Another highlight will be our Arctic topic—I love learning about the incredible animals that live there, the magical northern lights, and imagining what life is like in such a unique place.
