Our new topic this term is “Where do I live?” The children are just beginning an exciting journey of exploring their local area and the world around them. Through hands-on experiences and discussions, we will be learning about different places, habitats, and the plants and animals that live there.

As part of our learning, we will be discovering life cycles and observing changes in the natural world. Weather permitting, we are hoping to visit the local park, giving the children valuable opportunities to learn beyond the classroom and make real-life connections to their learning.

This topic supports children’s curiosity, sense of place, and understanding of the community they are part of, while encouraging them to explore, ask questions, and develop their knowledge of the world.
