Mrs Truman:

I love reading books (particularly picture books) and using these as the inspiration for writing in class. I am also very artistic and love being creative, particularly during artwork where I love using bright colours.  

Mrs Keightley:

I love reading and writing too and also love anything craft based, though I'll be the first to admit that drawing is not my strong point!  

We have a superb year planned for Year 5 this upcoming year with lots of exciting work and projects ahead. We are going to become Space experts, discovering all about different planets, key figures and delving in to the historic world of the Romans. We will learn about what has had the most impact on our world, what impact pollution has had as well as what our local area is like.  Finally, we will learn about how to stay safe in the modern world.We hope you are all ready to get lost in our wonderful learning and the exciting things we have planned for Year 5. 

We cannot wait to meet you all properly; we know we are going to make an amazing team!
